These kkwabaeggi (꽈배기), or twisted donuts, were one of my favorite after-school treats when I was a kid, something you can still find in many Korean bakeries and being sold on Korean streets today.

Thank you for this recipe. I made these for a large function where everyone had to bring a dish made at home. I chose dessert they were a hit I also did some glazed with a sheer lemon frosting made from lemon juice and icing sugar also very good. I can't wait for your next video. Kansas hami ta
I made these, delicious! I was worried about the yeast no rising since I added the salt after the yeast and I guess salt kills yeast, but they rose. I got inpatient and kneaded after 45 min instead of hour. Then 30 min for second rise. When I started rolling dough, it was taking soooooo long, so I twisted 2 and the rest I made donut holes. FABULOUS!!! I had 3 and feel really guilty but I was surprised how well. Only thing I can say is make sure u turn down the temp once it hits the 353 degrees because they will burn immediately if not. Thank for sharing!!!
