A more than Hardcore SONE alert : when you couldn't see their faces but you could separate them based on their height, appearance (look the era then the hair, oh shit i really remember every hair of every Soshi member in eveey era) or even fashion sense
Yup -correct. It's an acquired skill from watching all their MVs(including behind-the-scenes), dance practices (like this one); TV and Live radio appearances and CFs. Now it's 2019 and I am still watching.
Sica was their sunbae since she trained the longest from all of them. And taeyeon is their leader because she's the eldest. But leadership shouldn't have been based on age, if being given to someone who's really young and not ready could become a great burden to her. Just my cents. But snsd survived after 8 years with taeyeon as the leader. even though sica eonnie isnt anymore part, she will always be one of the nine who made snsd what they are right now.
How many false statements will you be making? Taeyeon was never a great burden to her, their relationship was good (until the Mr. Mr. era). Don't listen to what the fake SONEs say about Taeyeon, because she never neglected Sica.
Kpopster Taeyeon I think she's implyin that Jessica wouldn't have left/been kicked out because she would've had a very active position. Being a leader in a group like SNSD would place all your focus on the group and being a musician. No time to think about other areas of work you might want to pursue. Sure Jessica had a vital role as a main vocal but it was obvious that after 2011, she was gradually placed in the back of the vocal "pack", personally something that I'm actually confused about. I heard that there have been fans that have speculated that the reason Jessica departed from the group was because she was being neglected. I think that's what she's implying, but I could be wrong so...
+Kpopster Taeyeon Yes!
+tiaxox It's an unspoken tradition for SM to make the oldest the leader. Not all SM groups have the oldest one as their leaders but I'm pretty sure that many of them do, especially the first generations. And Not all leaders are the best vocalists amongst the members. Not with F(x), EXO, Red Velvet, Suju.
And Jessica was never the type to want to stand out or take responsibility, so I understand if she didn't want it in the first place anyway.
False, they didn't pick Tae just because she's the oldest, it's because she had a really powerful voice and she was considered the responsible one in her family. Although Sica had the longest training, she wanted Tae to be the leader because she saw strong compassion in her eyes. She said it herself too. Plus, while they were training, as you said, she was talking about her anemia, nothing else important. (Well, Anemia, especially to the Ice Princess is important, but still.)
i guess this song was a much more calm choreography, she was really good in mrmr too because its not as much powerful as igab or the boys. she couldnt dance those two songs (igab and tb) perfectly because she has anemia, and cant make very powerfull exercises or else she faints....
she was supposed to be a lead dancer before debut, but duue to her health condition they trained her to mahe her one of the main singers.
so eventhought i dont fully agree with your comment, i understand you ):
